Guangzhou Shipyard Heavy Machinery Company Limited is the sub-company of Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited, founded in 2009. Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited reformed from Guangzhou Shipyard was founded on June 7, 1993, and was listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Shanghai Stock Exchange in the same year. GSI is the first listed shipbuilding company in China and an important modern core enterprise in South China parented by China Shipbuilding Corporation, with independent import and export rights.
